It was shaping up to be a pretty nice little Saturday...

On Saturday, we all went to this fun new place that I discovered while searching online for kids' activities in the East Bay. It's called Happy Hollow Zoo & Park--http://www.happyhollowparkandzoo.org/ and it's in San Jose. They have a little zoo, lots of rides & lots of little playgrounds and houses and stuff to play on. We walked around and looked at animals and rode on the carousel...it was really fun and definitely someplace that we will go again.

On the way home from Happy Hollow, we stopped by the San Jose Flea Market which was pretty awesome since I am a sucker for both Mexican music and bargains. Liberty got a little guitar, Daddy got some cool Mexican blankets to cover the seats in the caddy, and Mommy bought a churro. We both wanted to buy Liberty a little Lucha Libre mask with a cape attached, but we decided to pass since it cost $15...I probably could have talked him down, but I guess we were trying to be conservative with money and it didn't really seem like a necessity. I still think it would be hilarious to see my daughter running around dressed as a little Mexican death match wrestler. It was a pretty fun day.

That picture of Liberty and the reward sign is just about the cutest thing I've ever seen!! Adorable! (glad to see your blog is up and running...it's addicting!) :)
