Another Battle Lost

Soooo......since our little Liberty will be turning two in a mere 17 days, *sigh* we thought it might be a good idea to try to get her to give up drinking her milk from bottles once and for all. We tried once before and were shot down immediately, but we figured since she is such a big girl now, she might have a better understanding of things and might not fight us about it.

We were wrong.
Dead wrong.
She wanted no part of that sippy cup and would not even take one little sip. She will drink water from a sippy cup or a straw or a water bottle or even sometimes straightout of the bath tub, but she only wants her milk in a bottle.

So we lost the battle, but I don't really want to push her too hard, so I guess we will try again later. I just hope she gives up those darn bottles by the time she goes to kindergarten.

*sigh*

Okay, bad Auntie here, but here is what our trick was...CHOCOLATE MILK. Don't warm it up, don't put it in a bottle. It's a "whole new beverage." Sure, she'll become a chocoholic like her cousin, but she'll be saying "Bottle schmottle, give me my sippy and my chocolate!" ;P
